Right-Size Design
Competition is fierce and overdesign leads to overspending.
Whether your facility is large or small, our philosophy is to meet your immediate needs while allocating space for expansion as your facility matures.
Water Treatment
Not all source waters are created equal.
Even the best city-supplied softened water should be purified to maintain consistency and enable the cultivation team to recreate the perfect recipe of nutrients every time.
Water Disinfection
Biosecurity is a best practice.
Growing safe plants begins with clean water. Disinfecting irrigation water reduces pathogen potential and minimizes fertigation piping biofilm buildup.
Fertigation
Deliver your recipe on time, every time.
Reduce labor associated with mixing fertilizer stock solution.
Irrigate between 3 and 300 times per day. We will provide the flexibility and frequency your plants need.
Post-Harvest Processing
Prevent damage to flower caused by inadequate cooling, dehumidification, and air flow around the plant biomass.
Our experience will set your rooms up to get climate control right the first time.
Packaging Automation
Increases in cultivation yield can create a bottleneck in processing and packaging operations. We will help to procure equipment that is tried and true in the cannabis market.
Our Team
Matt Kasper, M.S., P.E.
Matt Kasper is the founder and CEO of AnthoHydro. Armed with a 20-years of experience in water treatment and storage, hydraulic modeling, chemical feed systems, disinfection systems, building automation systems, project management, and assembling a network of the best engineers in the cannabis industry; he brings an unmatched combination of multi-faceted knowledge, real world experience, and dedication to infrastructure projects and problem solving.
In 2019, Mr. Kasper got his start in the cannabis industry while serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at one of the largest vertically-integrated cannabis companies in the US. He brings an unmatched combination of multifaceted knowledge and dedication to infrastructure projects and introduced best engineering practices into the cannabis space. He and his team were responsible for yields sky-rocketing (+140%) from 50 grams/sq. ft. (dry) to 120 grams/SF (dry) by knowing how to scale cultivation rooms while still maintaining precise control of lights, fans, temperature, humidity, and irrigation. During this experience, the company became the largest wholesaler in the US because the downstream processing and packaging operations could not keep up with the increased production of cannabis.
Noticing an influx of architecture and MEP engineering firms attempting to enter the cannabis space with a lack of understanding of operational work flows, scaling nuances, and environmental requirements, Mr. Kasper started his own consultancy that provides clients with the cost-justified solutions they need to succeed in this highly-competitive and price-compressing retail industry.
